Micko Westmoreland is a London based independent music maker. About to complete his third CD Wax & Wayne. He has formerly worked under the name the Bowling Green, producing, 'One pound Note' for Trent Reznor's nothing records (1998) and 'Fabrications' for Blue Planet/Spiky records (2002). He has also produced two film scores, 'The Fluffer', (2000) and 'Quinceanera / Echo Park LA' (2006) and documentary work included the acclaimed 'Gay Republicans' DVD election special. The work of the Bowling Green was largely electronic/danced based, though quirky and original, fusing sarcastic techno, Drum and bass and heavy break beat elements in a cinematic sound collage.Micko's new work is a complete departure from dance, using organic instrumental elements incorporated into dynamic singer song writing, the album is due for release in 2007.In summer 2006, Quinceanera / Echo Park LA, the movie is released; Micko collaborated with Victor Bock to produce contemporary Reggaton and traditional Latin Mexican music. Micko has worked with J J Burnell (the stranglers), Brian Eno (selfstorage), Terry Edwards (Scapegoats, Gallondrunk), Mike Gibson (the Godfathers), Leo Abrahams (Dave Holmes, Paul Simon, Grace Jones). Luke Bullen (Joe Strummer) and Arnulf Lindner (Ed Harcourt, KT Tunstell)
